Grammar nazis are the worst.

There was a time where I used to pick at people’s grammar. I would correct their spelling. I would correct anyone for the most minuscule things. I thought about it for a while and questioned WHY I am doing this. I’m not grading a paper. The communication is all still there, so why am I being so anal?

Honestly I understand how sometimes people don’t use certain words in the right context. It can be confusing. Some people fail at building sentences that pull their point across. But we’re not writing essays here. Who cares if someone mistypes the word “before” as “bfeore” or if a couple of commas and apostrophes are missing. Who cares if things aren’t capitalized completely. Who cares if someone makes a run-on sentence. Get that stick out of your ass. If you understand the big picture, then get off of your high horse. Most people here aren’t writing essays and reports, just ideas and feelings.

I don’t understand why people are so proud of being grammar nazis.
